About Us

Carlos M Trevizo has more than 20 years of industry experience. Holding positions with some of the nation's top companies. Such as Verizon Wireless, Fidelity Investments, and State Farm Insurance. He has knowledge in Insurance sales, underwriting, claims, billing, management, and customer service.

He founded High Plains Insurance Agency after working for a captive insurance company for many years. He decided to go Independent to represent several Insurance companies, not just one. This allowed him to always keep an excellent relationship with his clients while still providing them with Insurance options.

Carlos grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico where he met his wife Jessika. They decided to move to the Amarillo area to be closer to family and raise their 3 children. His wife works at a local law firm in Canyon and has been involved in the Criminal Justice System since graduating college. When not at work, Carlos enjoys spending time with his family, going to church, volunteering at his children's school, getting involved in the local community, and hiking in Palo Duro Canyon.
